Description:
As a Youth Engagement Specialist, you will be a front-line leader delivering high-quality, engaging programming for middle school students enrolled in DYMON’s afterschool programs. This role requires energy, patience, creativity, and a deep commitment to youth development. Specialists serve as positive role models while supporting student growth, empowerment, and success.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth in educational or community-based settings.
- Ability to lead and supervise students in structured group environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with youth and adults.
- Cultural competence and experience working with diverse populations.
- CPR and First Aid certification required (DYMON will provide training).
- Organized and dependable with strong follow-through.
- Basic computer skills and comfort with digital reporting tools.
