Description:
Are you ready to make a lasting impact on middle school students in Davidson County? The YMCA of Middle TN is looking for a passionate and organized Y-Quest Coordinator to lead our programming at Apollo Middle School and create a fun, supportive, and transformative environment for youth.
Duties:
- This position is Full-Time, located out of the Y-CAP office in East Nashville and Apollo Middle School
- Required to be on-site at Apollo Middle School on Monday-Thursday from 3:30pm – 6:00pm
- Lead Y-Quest afterschool and summer programming, including curriculum implementation and staff supervision
- Build relationships with students, parents, and community partners like Metro Nashville Public Schools and the Nashville After School Alliance
- Track attendance, manage data in Salesforce and Apricot, and coordinate transportation when needed
- Recruit, train, and support program staff and volunteers
- Oversee administrative tasks including payroll, reporting, and inventory
- Be a role model and advocate for social-emotional learning and community engagement
- Supervision of middle school children in an after-school setting
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21
- Valid driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1–2 years of youth development experience, or a high school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings
Compensation: Starts at $22/hour
