Site Coordinator – DYMON In The Rough

Description:

The Site Coordinator is responsible for the daily implementation of DYMON’s program at the assigned site. This part-time position actively engages students, follows lesson plans organized by the Program Director, tracks attendance, supports student recruitment and retention, builds positive relationships with parents, maintains compliance and safety standards, and manages Youth Engagement Specialists assigned to the site.

Duties:

  • Weekly Hours
    • On-site program hours: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
    • One weekday (Monday or Tuesday) available for youth recruiting at partner schools
    • Administrative time: up to 2–3 hours per week (virtual meetings, training, emails, parent calls, planning)
    • One monthly in-person team meeting (2 hours)
  • Maintain an engaging, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
  • Deliver activities with consistency and fidelity to program expectations
  • Direct, support, and monitor Youth Engagement Specialists assigned to the site
  • Communicate lesson plan needs, challenges, and student progress to the Program Director
  • Maintain required student records and submit reports by established deadlines
  • Recruit eligible students in partnership with school and community stakeholders
  • Support family engagement activities and respond to questions or concerns
  • Maintain active supervision, follow all DYMON and school-site policies, document incidents promptly, protect student confidentiality, and maintain required compliance records

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in education, Youth Development, Social Work, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth in an educational, afterschool, recreation, or community-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and classroom management skills required
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff is essential

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
