Description:

The Program Director provides strategic and operational leadership for DYMON’s youth development programs. This position oversees program design, curriculum development, lesson planning, student recruitment and retention, supervision of Teachers, Site Coordinators, and Youth Engagement Specialists, workforce scheduling, quality assurance, and compliance. The Program Director collaborates with schools, families, and community partners to deliver engaging, mission-driven programs that improve academic success, leadership development, and youth engagement.

Duties:

  • This position is Full-Time and requires reliable availability within the following schedule:
    • 8-hour flex schedule combining approximately 50% remote and 50% in-person work
    • Half-day Fridays
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all DYMON youth development programs
  • Develop annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly program plans
  • Coordinate enrichment activities, field trips, guest speakers, and special events
  • Develop curriculum frameworks and engaging lesson plans
  • Supervise Teachers, Site Coordinators, and Youth Engagement Specialists
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate staff
  • Develop and manage staff schedules
  • Develop annual recruitment and retention plans by building partnerships with schools and community organizations
  • Oversee daily operations across all DYMON sites
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and grant requirements
  • Prepare program reports and maintain enrollment, attendance, staffing, and performance records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, Youth Development, Social Work, Public Administration, Recreation, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum five years of youth program management experience, including at least three years supervising staff
  • Experience with curriculum development, student recruitment, community partnerships, and grant-funded programs preferred

Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000
