BIO

Jacob Aparicio is a human services professional with a wide range of experience in the public sector. Before joining NAZA, he served as the Communications Director for the Tennessee Human Rights Commission, where he managed agency communications and coordinated outreach initiatives to educate the public on their civil rights. Prior to that, Jacob was deeply involved in the youth development community as a Program Coordinator with the Oasis Center. In the role, he coordinated in-school and out-of-school programs, facilitated professional development trainings on youth voice, and served as Co-Chair of the MLK Day Nashville Youth Committee. Jacob graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and Political Science.
